Destination Rutherglen and Federation Council are proudly launching the inaugural Rutherglen Corowa Unlocked weekend to showcase the rich history and beautiful architecture of the region. Rug up and enjoy the warm hospitality of owners Ross and Kay Perry who will take you on a private tour of Olive Hills Estate. They will share their insights on the rich history of the 1886 homestead a buildings on the estate. They will tell you about the trials and joys of their journey since purchasing the estate and becoming the custodians of its history.

Celebrating the beginning of the 2018 growing season. The Bud Burst Long Lunch is the perfect occasion to celebrate the start of the growing season for the regions 2018 vintage. This inaugural long lunch will bring together like-minded individuals for a unique outdoor dining and wine experience. You will have the opportunity to kick back, relax and loosen your belt buckle for this lunch of all lunches. Seated outdoors you will be able to enjoy live music and a three-course meal by MILKIN Kitchen with each course matched with our premium hand-crafted wines. Buses will be available at an additional fee on the day with pick up and drop off locations in Albury, Wodonga and Rutherglen. Bus bookings are essential.

Held on the 2nd Sunday of the month over the warmer months from 14th October to March.
Join us for a unique and relaxing BBQ experience like no other at Olive Hills Estate where you can enjoy locally sourced meat, seasonal salads, local sourdough bread, grazing platters and hand-crafted wine.
Select your preferred cut of steak and snags sourced locally from Rutherglen Meat Co who pride themselves on locally grown meat with clear provenance and ethical farming practices. Multiple BBQ locations will be available. Choose your spot, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine while lunch is cooking. Forget about the pack up and dishes at the end for uniquely relaxing experience.
BBQs, seating, crockery, cutlery and glassware provided. A $50 deposit is required at time of booking. The $50 deposit is redeemable towards food and drinks purchased on the day. Please note no food or beverages purchased elsewhere are allowed at the event. Meat, salads, bread, rolls, grazing platters and beverages all available for purchase. Please note this event is weather dependant.
